There was a very sharp discussion at RCM about T9x, precisely about its certification. Before anybody knew what´s true and what is not, insulting words went pretty fast into one angry mess-up :)
Drondys took his time to collect data and answers for his questions to several institutions and he wrote a summary, which lightes the whole situation up. Result is, that we can fly with our T9x as same as we did, that is responsibly, without worries of braking a law. With FrSky or JETI much more stiller and with Er9x incredibly luxurious :)
And here is Drondy´s great work:
CE certification
In one of discussion topics in RC Mania s. this linkhttp://www.rcmania.cz/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=38867&start=210
was found invalidity of certificate marked as G105055V, which is at hand on FrSky producer´s web s. this link
http://www.flysky-cn.com/Certificate/FS-TH9X.jpg.
Anyway the other cartificate marked as G106008V was confirmed as valid by certificate authority EMCC, s. this link
http://www.pslib.cz/kz/models/TH9X/FS-TH9X_NB.pdf.
Declaration of Conformity, which is at hand in HobbyKing eshop web s. this link
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/1029023075X407290X1.pdf
was confirmed by ČTÚ as correct and CE marking on the product is stated.
Other matters are insignificant, when individual import is used.
Individual import means import/purchase by private person in country out of EU for example shopping in eshop for noncommercial purposes i.e. for personal needs of importer or personal needs of somebody from his family.
In case of individual import all you need is the copy of Declaration of Conformity and CE mark on the product. Otherwise there´s no need of other papers or Declaration of Conformity.
For commercial importers in EU, who are importing RC kits to be sold from countries out of EU it is more difficult. Commercial importers should provide not just the copy of Declaration of Conformity, but also its translation. Next he should provide a translated manual for product, where should be mentioned the list of EU countries where is possible to run this RC kit.
So that´s the current situation about CE certification.
